Cambodia Welcomes the 2019 SEAVFC Delegates to Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh welcomes the delegates, guests and children-participants to the 3rd Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children (SEAVFC) on Nov 29-30, 2019. Chhay Bora, noted Cambodian filmmaker is this year’s Festival Director.
21 Finalists Vie for Honors at the 3rd SEAVFC
Twenty one Videos for, and by children will compete for the ten major awards at the 3rd Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children in Phnom Penh. The Finalists got the highest scores at the second level of judging, participated in by three jurors from each of the ten countries of Southeast Asia.

Bayon TV Hosts The 2019 Festival Workshop for Kids
Bayon TV, the media partner of Anak TV for the 3rd Southeast Asia Video festival for Children in Cambodia will open its studios for the video workshop for kids. The Kids workshop will feature two mentors – Nico Hernadez and Mr Mike Villegas.

Cambodia has accepted the challenge to host the 2019 Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children. The Festival Director for the 3rd SEAVFC is Chhay Bora, a noted filmmaker in Cambodia.
2nd SEAVFC in Manila
The Philippines hosted another successful staging of the Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children.
Held in Manila on November 22-24, 2018, the event was well attended by representatives from the ten member-countries of Southeast Asia – Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Who can Join?
Professionals, Amateurs, Children and the youth in the Southeast Asian region – Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam can join. Read More.
Classification of Video Works
Video makers may enter video works that are either Non-Fiction or Fiction. Read More.
Target Audience
The Professionals need to specify their target audience:
- Children under 7 years old
- Children 8 -12 years old
- Children 13 -17 years old
Contest Categories
There are ten (10) categories in the competition – six categories for the Professionals, one for the Amateurs and three for the Children and Youth. Read More.
Running Time
- Professional: Maximum of One Hour
- Amateur: Maximum of 30 Minutes
- Children/Youth: Maximum of Five Minutes
General Entry Rules
